C - HyperTerminal
Using HyperTerminal To Upload Firmware
Firmware can be transferred to the TC-8000 series Towers
via CD-R or via the Serial port. To send firmware via
the serial port, we recommend using Windows HyperTerminal,
and a NULL MODEM CABLE. This type of cable is available
from most computer supplies companies.
HyperTerminal is normally present
on most Windows computers. It can be found in Start
Programs | Accessories | Communications | HyperTerminal.
Windows Menu
Click on the program icon, and the
following screen should appear.
Enter the word 'Direct' in the name
box, then click in OK.
